Here’s some quick footage of tugging the boat into the Gowanus Canal. The boat came from the 79th Street boat basin, where it had been scheduled for demolition. Its original name was “Esperanza” and a family of four had lived on it since the 80’s. They were happy to pass it on and give it a new life. Hopefully one day all the footage of the boat, its renovation, and the stories that happened onboard will be put together into a more comprehensive film. For now, here’s what we got…
